An agri-tech start-up with deep roots in electronic development, signal processing, and data science - building tools for autonomous agriculture since 2017, profitable since inception.
Atfield Technologies (ATFIELD) was founded in 2017 with a vision to develop tools for enabling autonomous agriculture. We have built and commercially deployed Winessense - an intelligent decision support system for viticulture - in 10 countries.
The service couples on-site soil and environmental measurements, open meteorological data, and Earth observation systems to advise users on required preventive and corrective actions. Our system incorporates proprietary disease prediction algorithms based on mechanistic models that track spore development through the whole year.
As of 2026 we are serving customers in Serbia, Spain, Croatia, USA, UK, Romania, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Czechia.
As an electronics design house and product development partner, Atfield has customers in Ireland, USA, and Serbia. All components of our product Winessense have been built entirely in-house, including electronics, radio protocol, disease models, microclimate models, phenology models, seasonal reports, mobile apps, and web dashboard.
We maintain tight connections with the University of Novi Sad and the School of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade. We have been a member of the National Technology Park in Belgrade and part of their group of mentors for young entrepreneurs. Atfield has been profitable since inception.
